Description: As a child, Lani was trained to be a Warrior. When she enrolled at the Monastery, however, Master Togo realized her true talent lay in elementalism. She became particularly fond of Pyromancy, and in studying it her pyromaniac tendencies started to show through. Even so, she still practices her Warrior routines as the physical activity helps to keep her in good shape.
Lani has a strong sense of morality and a fiery temper, which is held in check by a considerable amount of patience. She takes great pride in her ability to fend for herself and is offended if anyone else tries to protect her. She also has a compassionate heart and with the proper motivation would try to save even her worst of enemies, though if hurt or her trust is broken, she is known to unleash the fury of Hell one the one who hurt her.
Lani also seems to possess some mild precognitive abilities- she is a 'dream seer', though her dream warnings are usually vague and have only obscure relations to the upcoming danger. Aside from her obvious talent for Pyromancy, she is also quite skilled in Hydromancy and uses it when burning things just won't work. She also has some skill in using staves as melee weapons and will not hesitate to crack a foe's skull open with her heavy granite and iron fire staff, should any get close enough to reach. She seems to enjoy violence, to an extent, but knows very well when and when not to use it. |
